The easiest place to start is PetAddress. Enter your pet’s microchip number and, if the record is found, PetAddress will direct you to the registry that holds it so you can follow that registry’s process to update your details.

If PetAddress doesn’t return a record, or your pet is registered through a state-based system, check the relevant state or council registry or ask your vet or council for help.

If you don’t know the microchip number, a vet, council or animal welfare organisation can scan your pet.
