Airline pet policies can change, so check the airline’s current requirements before you book.

Virgin Australia

Virgin Australia offers pet travel in the cabin for eligible small cats and dogs, as well as cargo pet transport. Check Virgin Australia’s current pet travel options for routes, eligibility and booking requirements before making plans.

Qantas

Qantas Freight handles pet travel. Many domestic pet bookings can be made directly online. Brachycephalic pets have additional requirements and must be booked through an approved pet travel specialist. International pet travel to or from Australia also requires a pet travel specialist. Jetstar

Jetstar is not equipped to transport pets. Jetstar directs travellers to Qantas Freight to organise pet travel separately. Check Jetstar’s current pet travel policy before making plans.
