Can I volunteer with PetRescue?

PetRescue works with rescue organisations, shelters, vets and councils across Australia that list pets for adoption on our website.

We’re a small organisation and occasionally have volunteer opportunities come up. We share these through our current channels and volunteer register.

The Vital Vollie Program

PetRescue’s volunteer program includes a small group of volunteers who work with our team on current programs and projects.

When an opportunity comes up, we look at our volunteer register for people whose skills, availability and interests could be a good fit.

Hands-on volunteering

If you’d prefer hands-on volunteering with pets, use PetRescue’s Rescue Directory to find rescue organisations in your area and ask them directly about local volunteer opportunities.
