How do I search for a pet near me?

You can narrow a PetRescue search by location to find pets closer to home.

Choose dogs, cats or other pets, then use the location filters. In the search options, enter your postcode under Pets near me within, choose a distance and update the results. You can also filter by state.

Check whether Include pets available for interstate adoption is selected, and read the location on each pet's profile. A pet available for adoption in your state may currently live elsewhere.

Gender, size, age and About my home options can help you narrow your search further. Select Senior under age to find older pets. Advanced options include pets needing foster care and pets looking for a home together.
