Adding a secondary contact to your group's profile

Adding a secondary contact is a reliable way to ensure your account’s security. Having a secondary contact allows you to retain access in case the group administrator has been locked out or moved on. 
This field is also important as it allows PetRescue to stay in touch even when your primary contact is no longer with the organisation, on leave or perhaps is experiencing troubles with their email. The team at PetRescue reach out for many reasons, so it’s always safe to have two contacts listed on your group profile to ensure you don’t miss out on member opportunities or important updates.

To add a secondary contact, log into your admin account, then:

  • Go to 'My Group Profile'
  • Click 'Edit' at the top of your group page
  • Close to the top, you'll find the contact details section with 'Secondary contact' listed
  • Click the dropdown and select the contact from the members of your organisation that you’d like to be listed as the secondary contact
  • Finally, scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Update Group' to save the changes
