Notify unsuccessful enquirers that your pet has been adopted

Yay! Your pet has been adopted!  🎉

What are the next steps?

If you have received tons of enquiries for your pet, then you can notify all enquirers at once with an automated message that your pet has already been adopted.  This is really helpful for unsuccessful enquirers as they can continue searching for a pet on PetRescue, and it saves you the trouble of individually messaging each one.

You can follow these 3 simple steps to send an automated message to all unsuccessful enquirers:

Step 1: Go to your pet’s profile and mark your pet as “adopted.”

Step two: You will then see a pop up with a preview message to send to all other enquirers informing them that your pet has been adopted. To send this message, first hit the big green button which says, “Yes, notify unsuccessful enquirers.”

Step three: Another pop-up will then ask you to chose the adopter from the drop-down menu which lists all the users who enquired about your pet (this is so we don’t send a notification to the adopter!).

Once you have selected the user who adopted your pet, click the orange button which says “Send notification”.

And with that, all unsuccessful enquirers get notified with an automated message in the same conversation window where they first enquired about your pet.

You can also notify enquirers if your pet has been put on hold. Find out more here
